Privacy Policy

Vibe Rooster, Inc. (“Vibe Rooster,” “we,” “us”) operates the Vibe Rooster platform and the Hatch connector for Claude and other AI assistants. This policy explains what data we handle when you use the connector to publish a website, and how we treat it.
What the connector is
The Hatch connector is a remote service that lets an AI assistant (such as Claude) publish a website on your behalf to *.theroost.dev. The connector is unauthenticated: you don't create an account or provide a password, API key, or payment details to use it. We therefore do not knowingly collect your name, email, or login identity through the connector itself.
What we process
- Site content you publish. The files and code your assistant sends — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, and other assets — are stored so we can serve your live site. This content is published to a public URL and is intended to be viewable by anyone.
- Site metadata. The site's name (slug), tier, creation time, expiry time, and internal identifiers needed to route and serve the site.
- Operational logs. A record of connector actions (for example, “a site was created” or “a file upload failed”), including a summary of the request such as the slug, tier, and file count. These logs do not contain your file contents.
- Abuse-prevention data. To enforce fair-use rate limits on new-site creation, we keep short-lived counters keyed in part by network (IP) address. These counters expire automatically (within roughly an hour) and are used only to throttle abuse.
- Visitor traffic to your site. When someone visits a site you published, we record coarse traffic counts for the site so we can show basic visit statistics and operate the service.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't use your published site content to train AI models.
- We don't require or collect account credentials or payment information through the anonymous connector.
How long we keep it
- Free sites created through the connector are temporary: their content and routing expire automatically about 48 hours after creation.
- Operational logs and visit counts are retained for a limited period for security, debugging, and service operation, then aged out.
- Rate-limit counters expire within roughly an hour.
If you later upgrade a site to a permanent (“forever”) tier through an account, that site's content is retained until you delete it or close your account.
Service providers
We run on Cloudflare (Workers, R2 storage, D1, KV, and Queues), which processes and stores data on our behalf as our infrastructure provider. When you use the connector inside an AI assistant such as Claude (Anthropic), your prompts and the assistant's tool calls are handled by that assistant's provider under their own privacy terms; we receive only the tool calls the assistant sends to the connector.
Your choices
Because free sites expire on their own, the simplest way to remove a published site is to let it lapse. To delete a site sooner, or to request removal of content or logs, email us at hello@viberooster.com with the site's URL or slug.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
